Dance Pole Warning! In the sticky about dance poles I specifically addressed the issue with cheap poles, the Peekaboo pole and others like it, that are totally unsafe.
I want to reiterate that if it's cheap, it's not going to be safe. I have yet to see a pole for under $250 (plus shipping) that is safe for even the most novice of pole dancers. Even those have their limitations.
However, also be aware of the fraud that is becoming prevalent within the market. The cons have realized this is a great market to take advantage of!
For example, there is now someone on ebay selling a pole called "Xtreme" using the same Xpole product pictures and descriptions for a lot less money.
In fact this particular seller, previously CALLED the product XPole in their descriptions and even sent the Xpole instructions and DVD with the pole for buyers.
It is NOT an Xpole. It is a poor knock off and we have read reports of unsafe, low grade products from their buyers.
Remember if the deal sounds too good to be true, then it's probably not!
Be aware that Vertical Leisure, the makers of Xpole, have a set price for the poles and we are not allowed to deviate from that price or we will lose our contracts with them!
We are not allowed to offer sales or discounts on the Xpole. The best we can do is offer a discount on our own services if you buy a pole, or offer discounted shipping, but we cannot sell the pole itself for less than the MFSRP which is $299 for chrome and $329 for titanium.
Watch for other "great" deals. No matter who the manufacturor is - don't trust your safety to something cheap and question any great "bargains".
